Bollywood’s trend of emerging films based on real-life characters is hitting the screens and doing tremendously well, and because of this many Bollywood directors are moving towards biographic movies.
It's not that biography movies are not made earlier, some exceptional movies were made before such as Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005), Netaji Subash Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero (2005), Gandhi (1982), and many more. All of this movie released was representing some special stories on a filmic platform and shedding some light on who had marked their attention but yet they have been forgotten. But after 2010 the directors of Bollywood filmmakers have changed the view they produce the movie these days. Nowadays the filmmakers are more looking forward to releasing movies based on the real stories to appreciate the attention marked by them.
